Section Description: This section will provide information on Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE).
IHE is an initiative to improve the methods used to share health information.
These IHE sessions will provide information about the IHE organization and
process. The sessions include a general discussion of how IHE works and in what
clinical areas IHE is developing Integration Profiles. More specific information
will be provided about the methods IHE has developed to share image related
information. The final session will provide information on how IHE Integration
Profiles and the IHE process can be used in practice in a large healthcare enterprise.
