Description: This session will provide a point-counterpoint exchange of views on
which department should provide the oversight, daily management and
upkeep of PACS in the hospital. The participants will present and
discuss their views advocating PACS as another clinical information
system falling under the Information Technology domain versus the
specialty of PACS requiring the expertise of the Radiology users to be
optimally used, deployed and maintained.
