This activity has been planned and implemented in
accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation
Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through joint
sponsorship of the Society of Interventional Radiology and the Society
for Imaging Informatics in Medicine.
The Society of Interventional Radiology is accredited by the ACCME to
provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Society of
Interventional Radiology designates this educational activity for a
maximum of 33.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should
only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in
the activity. |

Category A continuing education credit is pending
approval by the American Society
of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) for the SIIM Annual Meeting Program and the
Imaging Informatics Professional Symposium.
ASRT does not permit announcement or posting of approval of credits
until the ASRT sends the final approval letter of the SIIM 2008 CE
application. Updated information will be announced and posted on this
page when it becomes available in April.
ASRT approved for technologist attendees, Category A CE credits for the
entire program of the 2005, 2006, and 2007 SIIM/SCAR Annual Meetings. |

Physicists:

An
application has been submitted and is pending approval from the Commission on Accreditation of Medical
Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP) for Medical Physics Continuing
Education Credit (MPCEC) for the SIIM Annual Meeting and the Imaging Informatics
Professional Symposium.
CAMPEP approved for physicist attendees, Medical Physics Continuing Education Credit for the entire 2005, 2006, and 2007 SIIM/SCAR Annual
Meetings. |

Certificates of Attendance will be available for Imaging Informatics
Professionals to track continuing education eligibility requirements for the
American Board of Imaging Informatics (ABII). |

How to Obtain CME, CE, or MPCEC Credit
|
| |
New at SIIM 2008!
Attendees who wish to receive physician, technologist, or medical
physicist credit must indicate this on their individual meeting
registration form. All
attendees desiring credit are to scan their meeting badge in the back of
the meeting room at the end of each session either 10 minutes prior
to completion, or 10 minutes following completion of a session to
receive credit for attending the session. |

Technologists and medical physicists continuing education credits
letter/certificate will be mailed to the address the attendee submitted
on the SIIM 2008 meeting registration form. Please allow up to 12 weeks
for receipt of confirmation letter/certificate. |

beginning August 1, 2008.
